Heather supports research-related operations, finances, and administrative tasks for the Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science. She also serves as the research administrator for the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Leveraging her background in the humanities, Heather brings nearly 14 years of experience supporting scientific research endeavors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wyoming as well as a Master of Arts in Public History from Georgia Southern University. Prior to her current positions, Heather held research administration roles at Mississippi State University, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech, and Acomhal Research, Inc.
