Amanda’s role in the Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science is to assist with management of administrative and financial tasks. She graduated from University of Phoenix in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Health Administration. While completing her Master’s degree, Amanda decided to pursue her PhD in Health Administration (DHA) and will graduate in Fall 2024. Prior to working at Virginia Tech, Amanda worked as an Administrative Supervisor at RayUs Radiology and built her knowledge of budgeting, writing operating policies and streamlining procedures for better efficiency. She also has experience in Human Resources and hiring procedures, along with skills in scheduling, graduate medical education, financial management, and reimbursement.
