The Collaborative Undergraduate Biostatistics Experience (CUBE) 2023 program was highlighted in its first publication, the July-September Journal of STEM Education, showcasing the Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science and its efforts to diversify the field of biostatistics through providing experiential research experiences to underrepresented students in STEM.

Results from CUBE 2023 cohort conclude that most participants experienced significant improvements in understanding the lifecycle of the research process, and that the program played a pivotal role in equipping aspiring researchers with the skills and confidence needed for successful endeavors in the fields of biostatistics, research, and translational science.
